Sovereign Hill, located at 3 Bradshaw Street, Ballarat, will come alive this Friday 5th December, for its annual Christmas Shopping Night.
Free entry to Sovereign Hill for its annual Christmas Shopping night on 5th December
Entry is FREE from 6.00pm until the conclusion of the shopping night at 8.30pm.
For a shopping experience that evokes a Christmas of times passed, bring your family and friends to Sovereign Hill and browse Sovereign Hill's traditional Christmas gifts, including their famous raspberry drops and traditional hard-boiled sweets, Christmas puddings, homemade candles, wooden toys, jewellery and more.
There are a range of hampers available, on the night or online
You will have the opportunity to hear all your favourite carols on Main Street, watch Ballarat's best highland dance troupe, accompanied by the Federation University Australia Pipe Band, and enjoy other activities like face painting.
Of course, no Christmas celebration would be complete without a visit from Santa, so he'll be there on the night too.
All Sovereign Hill's Main Street eateries will be open, and there will be a gourmet BBQ. The Hope Bakery will be in full swing and, to cope with the crowds, their famous baked goods will also be on sale at stalls on Main Street – an ideal chance to stock up on Christmas cakes and puddings, mince tarts, party pies, as well as Sovereign Hill's award-winning sausage rolls.
Visit the many stores to stock up on your Christmas goodies
