I'm a music enthusiast and foodie looking for new places and experiences.

Because happiness is priceless
Walking through Chinatown on a dreary afternoon, my friend and I were thrilled to pass N2.
Capturing the liquid nitrogen
Admittedly, we'd both seen the salivating photos and status updates, thrown across Instagram and Facebook. With a bit of free time on our hands, we decided to try it for the first time.
We walked into N2, not knowing what to expect. We were greeted with an ambience, combining artistry and creativity with science in a beautiful mash-up.
Looks eerily like a science lab
It was a relatively small shop, consisting of a few colourful chairs and tables. It had two entrances, or you could call them exits, for the secret spy in you. You could enter via Number One Dixon Centre or alternatively continue walking through Chinatown in the direction of Town hall.
Located in a rather dodgy area of the city, a place where I would definitely walk a bit quicker at night, this cosy little shop connected to a chain of other restaurants was a cute surprise. We stood awkwardly in the midst of hungry others staring at the menu on the blackboard. Some were priced as $6 and some were $8.
A creative way to put up a menu
As we weren't so hungry, we decided to share a Donuto Toreo which was $8. It sounded too exotic to miss!
It was so worth it!
It was delicious!
We were both taken aback that it was an actual glazed donut balancing precariously on top of the gelato! It was topped with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles with four roasted peanuts. Four easily became two as we attempted to share the gelato, dropping onto the table. Beneath the donut was the classic cookies and cream which is undoubtedly a favourite of many. I particularly liked the cookies and cream as it was not too sweet or strong but it remained delicious.
I did a little research and found that N2 changes their menu each week.
I would definitely return at a later date. Try it out and see if it lives up to the hype! I think it does!
