All new live shows to humour & get you thinking
If you're a fan of the Discovery TV show Mythbusters then you will be happy to know the guys are touring Australia for the first time ever and the Sydney shows are on next Saturday 23rd August with some other states still to follow.

Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage's Behind The Myths tour will consist of live on-stage experiments, audience participation and behind the scenes video and stories. You'll be able to match your wits on stage with these hosts and their unique approach to science. Their curiosity and debunking of myths has been seen on TV for a decade and continues to draw in like-minded would-be scientists, sceptics and inventors.

Not everything is science but nevertheless entertaining. I've seen them drop toast from the top of a building just to see if it lands butter side up or down and they've tested to see if elephants are afraid of mice. They've blown up and destroyed over 100 vehicles, have used lots of duct tape and proved over 190 myths as well as busting over 460 myths. Then there's the plausible myths numbering above 170. With Jamie's electronics workshop and Adam's prop-making, who knows what we will see and what mayhem they will get up to on stage.

The two hour theatrical shows (2pm and 7.30pm) are family-friendly and suitable for all ages. Volunteers will be selected at random to go on stage and help out with the experiments. The evening show has a VIP package you can purchase which gives you VIP entrance, a pre-signed photo, dedicated VIP merchandise stand, food and beverage vouchers, and most important a meet and greet with the stars after the show.

An online shop sells autographed pictures and posters, T-shirts, caps and mugs here.

Tickets to the shows are available through Ticketek.
