Busters of myths Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman star in the science entertainment television program
Mythbusters, created by Peter Rees and produced by Australia's Beyond Television Productions for the Discovery Channel.
Science entertainment? I would think the term was a myth in and of itself, however it doesn't take long to be entertained by the science of special effects experts Savage and Hyneman. Scientific methods are used to test the validity of rumours, myths, movie scenes, adages, internet videos, and popular news stories. Have a look:
Also check out the "Surfing with Dynamite" clip, and see if you can find "Peeing on the Electric Fence." Entertaining indeed. I doubt they will try those ones at their live show, though it promises to be an "unexpected evening of on-stage experiments, audience participation, rocking video, and behind-the-scenes stories". For the first time ever, fans will join Jamie and Adam on stage and assist in their mind-twisting and not always orthodox approach to science.
