Discover hidden gems and exclusive shops in the heart of Freo
The holiday season is a perfect time relax and take the time to browse around the eclectic mixture of shops that the port city of Fremantle has to offer. If you're looking for the perfect present for the hard to buy for person in your life, searching for a stunning decorator piece to complement your home or just wanting to improve your interior decorating knowledge, Essence Interiors has the solution for you.
Simone Gillespie, from the Perth based interior design and home renovation company, will be presenting a series of educational tours based in Fremantle, the first one starting on Saturday 16 December. There will be two different tours held on the day – you can book in for one or both tours as they run independently of each other and cover different themes. On the morning tour, guests will be taken on the 'Hip Freo Mystery Design Tour Walking', and in the afternoon guests will attend the 'North Fremantle - Textures, Tastes and Treasures Tour'.
Starting off at a mysterious location that will be revealed to you when booking, you will be taken on a walking tour through hidden treasures, designer hotspots and unique homewares stores.
On the four hour tour, you will be able to browse, shop or just listen and learn and get ideas for future renovations. You will also hear talks from local artists and other expert speakers, while having an experienced interior designer on hand to give you valuable advice on decorating your home. The tour also includes discount vouchers and giveaways for attendees and refreshments are also included.
In the months to follow, Simone will be offering a series of fun and informative tours in different suburbs around Perth. These tours are an enjoyable way to spoil yourself or someone special and gain some working knowledge on interior decorating at the same time.
