Want to know a secret? I know how to get the fastest coffee in Perth.
Recently I was grabbing a coffee at my favourite cafe, The Bucket and I saw a sign at the pick-up area for takeaways. It said I could pre-order my coffee at mypreorder.com.au. Intrigued, I jumped on the website from my smart phone and signed up for free, just to see what it was all about.
From that day, I've never looked back. Mypreorder is the best way to get a coffee without having to wait. You don't even have to stop at coffee. Order your food, specify when you want it to be ready and just pop in and pick it up. Because you also pre-pay, there is no need to go to the service counter and as a result you avoid the queue completely. You can pay by a number of options on the site; I chose to top up my account balance to $20 using my debit card, but you can pay using Paypal for a small fee.
Mypreorder can be used for numerous locations; as well as The Bucket Cafe; you can pre order coffee and food at 77 Espresso Perth, Caffe Vero Subiaco, Jus Burgers (multiple locations), Coffee Pump Perth, Play Subiaco and The Deck Cafe, Perth. When using the website, a list of locations will appear, as well as updates on if they are open or closed. In time, I'm sure that more locations will be added.
Pre order at The Deck Cafe and a range of other locations
Still on the train, I signed in, selected my preferred location, ordered my drink, and specified my options (1 sugar, etc). I could then choose a pickup time, anywhere from 5 minutes to hours in advance. I can see the advantage this would be for small offices in preparation for a big meeting halfway through the day, or a busy worker who only has 10 minutes to get off the train and get to work. I was still a while away from the city so I chose for my drink to be ready in 20 minutes, and I strolled in on the dot. They had just finished making my coffee and because my name came up on their order, they knew it was for me. I had a hot drink in hand, right on time for work and all without having to get out my purse.
An iPhone app is the pipeline, according to the website, as well as an app for android users. This will make an already simple process even easier, so sign up for mypreorder.com.au (it's free) and make waiting a thing of the past.
