Get ready to jump on board the Santaland Express train and travel to the North Pole, meet Santa Claus, share your holiday wish list and get a keepsake photograph at Myer retail stores this yuletide season.



Santaland is a FREE family-friendly, interactive Christmas experience at selected Myer stores across Australia which takes meeting Saint Nick to a whole new level. Santaland is a wonderland with child-friendly games and joyful, interactive activities in the lead up to Christmas. However, the centrepiece of Santaland is the very merry Santaland Express train.

Here you can step up to the Santaland Station and be greeted by one of Santa's friendly elves who will invite you to walk behind the white picket and enter the magical Christmas journey on board a train carriage. The train, with its rattle, rumble and sway of the carriage, makes its way past white snow-capped mountains, to the North Pole and the home of Santa and Mrs Claus.



Of course, you need to say the magic word, "Christmas" before the engines start on this stationary, re-created but digitally enhanced train carriage with video storytelling. A brief (30 second or so) ride takes you to the main destination of the Clause's Residence where Santa is waiting to meet all of those who have been naughty or nice.



Take the opportunity to share your wish list with Santa and sneak in a cheeky selfie or pose for a professional photo which you can purchase as a keepsake of your experience. Digital versions are available for $12.95 and printed photo packages start at $25.95.



Other activities
After you have finished meeting Santa, why not stay about for some colouring in or take a moment to write and post a letter to Santa, which you can drop off in the giant red post box beside the train stop!



Or maybe take the opportunity to enjoy some quiet reading with Mrs Clause. You can also create your own Santaland at home by viewing the wonderful collection of Christmas decorations and home decor to last the whole season.

Santaland is available at Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide Myer city stores. I visited the Brisbane Santaland which saw my journey to the North Pole starting on Level 4 of the Myer Centre located just off the Queen Street Mall in the CBD.
