The Myer Christmas Windows are an annual tradition dating back fifty-seven years. Each year, Myer unveils its magical, merry windows as a gift for all to enjoy.
This year's wonderful windows are based on Rob Scotton's storybook,
Russell's Christmas Magic . This beautifully illustrated book comes to life as each animated window tells the tale of how Santa's sled crashes in Firefly Wood and the Christmas spell is broken. Santa declares that Christmas will have to be cancelled but Russell the sheep comes to the rescue and saves Christmas day.
Myer has done an amazing job of bringing this beloved book to life. If your children are familiar with
Russell's Christmas Magic, they are going to love these wonderfully whimsical windows. If not, they are going to fall in love with the adorable and heroic Russell the sheep.
The Myer Christmas Windows are on display until Sunday, January 6, 2013, from 7:30am until 1am daily.

While you're at Myer, take the children to visit Santa at
Santaland . Ride the train through Santaland village, have your photo taken with Santa Claus, and don't forget to post your letter in the special express letter box.
