The Myer Christmas Windows just recently opened, and to coincide with this, the City of Melbourne will present the Myer Christmas Spectacular where Bourke Street Mall will be brought back to life with more free, quality entertainment on Saturday the 19 November 2011 between 7am-3pm.

A day of entertainment designed for the entire family. Yes Melbourne has it covered once again, and will include musical performances from Guy Sebastian and Kate Cebrano and popular iconic children's characters such as Dorothy the Dinosaur and My Little Pony will be featured throughout the day.

Why so early? This is because Channel 7's Sunrise team will be there broadcasting the TV show live, and then from 9:30am onwards the launch of the Myer Spirit of Christmas CD will happen with performances from key artists featured on this charity based CD.

Give yourself plenty of time, and remember tram routes 86 and 96 will be diverted once again to accommodate for this event. Our weather is warming up, so remember the sunscreen and bring a few snacks and plenty of water to keep the children happy as well. There will be plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy, and of course the day will not be complete without a visit from Santa.

If you plan on going, have a spectacular (sorry, no pun intended) and fun filled day in the city.
