The
Myalup Easter Fair will take place on Easter Sunday, 1st April, 2018 from 10.30 am to 3.00 pm, at the Myalup Community Hall, in Reading Rd.
It will be a whole day of family fun and a community fundraiser for the Myalup area. Visitors will be able to shop at the fabulous country market stalls, as well as listen to the bluegrass band, or try their luck in sideshow alley.
Enjoy a delicious hamburger made by the local Volunteer Fire Brigade, as well as buy some tasty food from the food trucks.
There will be pony rides, great live music, an Easter Bonnet Competition, wine tasting, Youth Art Competition, Easter Bunny, bouncy castle, rainbow tractor train and sand castle competition.
The Myalup Community Association will be running an Old Fashioned Sideshow, and here everybody will win a prize.
There will be close to 40 market stalls selling everything from plants to handmade items, ladies clothing to preserves, children's toys and artwork, and many of these will be exclusive country-style one of a kind objects!
One of the features of this fair is the dog look-alike competition, a pet show and pet parade. This always proves to be a great deal of fun for all, and you can register for this on the day.

Make sure you do not miss the amazing art display, including the Youth Art Exhibition and Competition, where local artists will be contributing as well as judging on the day.
You will also be able to have wine tastings in the hall, and there will be more with afternoon live music, and a fun time to be had.
Entry is by gold coin donation with any profits going back into the community of Myalup.
Myalup is a coastal town located between Mandurah and Bunbury, so it is a nice casual drive if you are coming from Perth and a very good excuse to pack that camping gear and have a weekend away in regional Western Australia, and on the beach.
The Quilting Exhibition Vineyard 28
This exhibition will have wine and quilts - the perfect mix.
Mark is the winemaker and Pippa is the quilt maker and on the Easter Weekend from Saturday 31st March to Monday 2nd April, 2018 they will have an annual quilt exhibition and quilt airing.
Pippa has been making quilts for around 20 years, and there will also be new quilts on display and for sale from many other local quilters from Harvey, Australind and surrounding areas.
The exhibition will feature various textile works from local resident artist, Yvonne Chapman. Highlights will be – Australia's Bouquet, freshly back from touring as part of the 2018 Australasian Quilt Challenge, and Carousel, back from touring in America with the World Quilt Exhibition, in New Hampshire, where it won an award for best use of colour.
Yvonne is a renowned local artist, who works not only in traditional mediums, but has become well known for her fabulous pet portraits and her wonderful textile art creations.
Vineyard 28 is boutique vineyard and winery, which is a family owned and run business. The owners are passionate about growing wine grapes, making wine and quilting!
You can see a fabulous display of vivid colours and textures of the quilts and art on display, and Harvey is just a 20 minutes drive from Myalup. Vineyard 28 is situated at 270 Bagieau Rd, Harvey.
