Two and half hour's drive to the north from Sydney is . Set on a 1.5 kilometres of lake frontage and located in the middle of Myall Lakes National Park, is the ideal location for a water sport holiday or a relaxing camping trip. It is one of the great lakes best caravan park accommodation set in its natural and relaxing setting,

Myall Lakes National Park is Australia's most unique and significant eco-systems. From bush walking the vast areas of this magnificent place, this environment offers various activities and attractions. It has one of the state's largest coastal system. Myall Lake is also the most popular and frequently visited parks in NSW. With its 40 kilometres beaches, rolling sand dunes, and the lakes, it's a perfect spot for water activities. You have the option of bringing your own craft or hiring it locally.

The tranquillity of the place surrounded by nature where you can hire a dinghy, row along the lakes, a bottle of wine in the company of your love one make this place an ideal romantic getaway.

There are various free activities and tours for the guest of Myall Lake Shores Holiday Park on a daily basis. The friendly staff will be able to assist with your queries.

If lazing around the lake, reading the book that you have been meaning to read for a while becomes a dull, or if you are just feeling energetic. There are a lot of nature walks from the park depending on your fitness level.

A 15 minute's walk would take you the loop of the resort and back through Bombah Point Road. Grand tall Angophora trees can be found at the end of the park leased area. On the way back, you will see an array of wild flowers, birds, plants and insects, frolicking amongst the shrubs and the trees. The swamp reminded me of Shrek with his wife Fiona and their children running around and throwing mud pies at each other!

A six kilometres walk south west to the mouth of the Myall River starting from the end of the resort is a solid walk to Myall River that will take two to three hours return. You will find a few beautiful spots along the edge of the lake where you can rest and re-invigorate. These places are ideal for tai chi, Yoga and meditation that you can incorporate in your morning walks.

Alternatively you can take a 5 kilometres modest walk to Freshwater Camping Area. Catch the ferry across Bombah Point. Crossing the river will cost $5. Walk for 5 minutes, then turn left into the unsealed road to freshwater camping area with its sandy beaches, enticing you to take a swim. There are toilets and other facilities which are basic but clean.

The tallest tree in the state 'The Grandis" a 76 meters high gum tree can be found at Grandis picnic area, north east of Buladelah is a must to visit. There are signs everywhere, so you shouldn't miss it.

An abundant of wildlife can be found here at Myall Shores. You can hear the call of the Kookaburras, the smile of the Brush-tailed possums. We had the pleasure of watching the ever friendly koalas cross the road. The beautiful black swan as it glides along the lake. We also spotted some monitor lizards and a lot of kangaroos. The Parks Education Centre features documentaries and slide show of the wildlife for the children to enjoy.

The peace, tranquillity, and the views combined with the facilities on offer at Myall Shore Holiday Park is world class.

There are hotspots for WIFI, kids activities during the schools holidays, DVD, and access to Foxtel if you're staying in a villa. All of these are "FREE".

Accommodation varies and starts from unpowered camping site for $24 a night to $1925 per week on a high season with two bedroom water front villas with sunken spa bath, king size bed, fully self-contained kitchen, foxtel and can easily accommodate a family of six.

The camp area includes a large block of amenities with hot showers, toilets, and a laundry with washers and dryer Myall Lake Shores Holiday Park can caters for everyone's need.

Visitors who opted to stay just for a day to enjoy a barbeque or a picnic and everything else the place has to offer are most welcome, although I would recommend staying for the weekend or longer to make the most of this magnificent park.

Leggey's Bar Café is open from 10am daily, where light meals and refreshments are served. Dinner is open on Saturday nights but booking is a must.

The licensed bar is open from 10am and the happy hour from 4:30 to 5:30, Monday Wednesday and Friday.

The place is cosy, if you just want to laze around and enjoy the glow of the burning log in the fireplace during the cold months. The swimming pool to cool you down after those long summer walks. The kiosk supplies the basic necessities. The park is part of Myall Lakes National park and has strict regulations on open fire. An area had been designated for the campfire and barbeque in the park. After all, who would not want to feel the magic as you watch the kaleidoscope of colours that emits from a burning log.

So. Are you up for another adventure? Then, pack the car, a comfortable pair of shoes, take a good book, a nice bottle of red or white. For the writers, your imaginations, the camera for that lifetime memories. Leave the phone and the laptop in your car.

Embark on your trail to nature and enjoy what GOD had given us mankind.
