My Sweet Memory is the home of cute Asian stationery, in a perfect location - where all of the "action" occurs in the city. Like a mix between French food and Asian stationery - they meet up and become best friends, and so far the relationship is harmonious.

It is so convenient that you can come here, buy your coffee and also buy some fruity lip gloss and a notepad in between. How swish. This is a relatively newly opened establishment that has surprised us on Bathurst Street (right near Kent Street) with fairly good customer service. The staff are really polite, yet it is just the ambience that gave it six stars from me.
The thing about life is that the simplest things are always often the best. The ambience is so simple - but it strikes a chord with chic and cosmopolitan Sydney. Clearly a lot of planning and work has gone into this setup. Therefore it is fair to say that this establishment makes the way for a pleasant eating (or drinking in) experience, with a relaxing (laid back for sure) dining area. So vintage, yet so trendy.
Interior decorators and other creatives will love this place for the sleek and simple elegance. This establishment is really putting the other coffee outlets in the "no go, we are a little bit boring type of zone" because of the funky vintage and classic wooden furniture decor.
Regardless as to whether or not you work around this part of the city, and you have just come from the airport, or you are a local Sydneysider, it is so easy to head into the office after having a coffee (welcome to latte society, well for me and for all of you fellow latte drinkers out there - rejoice). You arrive and leave here here so relaxed. The pace is slow. You get to unwind and chill out for a little bit (while getting your daily caffeine fix) and you are set (and rather relaxed) for a week. If you love your daily grind here. Come here 2-3 days of your five day working week if you are a full-time office worker for your morning coffee and you will feel like you have inherited a simple but pleasant heaven amongst yourself. It's worth it. If you have some or all of your weekdays free, then go for it as well. Great coffee. And top notch and stellar ambience.
They also have one in Strathfield right near the train station. The decor is cute, modern and homely. It gets very very busy at this one though, and I think it is a little smaller than the one in the city. So if you are wanting that morning coffee kick without going to the city, Strathfield is the place to go!
