Coffee and lots more
This regular hangout of mine is so much more than a cafe. They also have a range of beautiful gifts, clothes, jewellery and homewares for sale. At the moment there is a collection of Christmas decorations which would make a stylish addition to anyone's Christmas decor.
The coffee here is well made as are the selection of cakes and sweet treats to have with your cuppa. They also have a range of rich and luscious hot chocolates. I was game enough to try the chilli chocolate once and it left a nice afterglow. Best partaken in winter I believe.
The tea selection is extensive although I have never tried any of them being more of a coffee person.
I am often there with one or both kids and they love the chocolate brownies. The milkshakes are also very good with generous amounts of flavouring and icecream.
The lunch menu is not huge but there is always a daily special too. Last time I had the nachos. These were made with an interesting kind of corn chip and came with a big dollop of meaty sauce on the top. Guacamole and sour cream were on the side. The serving was large for a lunch dish and I didn't finish it which is unusual for me.
Once I've finished eating or drinking I like to take a look at the lovely non food offerings. There are always interesting trinkets to be found and the clothes are my kind of thing - Australian made and a lot of them in natural fibres.
