My Spirit, a New Age store of books, crystals and jewellery, has been a part of the Old Petrie Town community since April 2012. Operating for over 15 years, My Spirit has acquired a loyal following in-store, on Facebook and most recently through the newly constructed My Spirit website .

Mark Draper, owner of the store, says, "The store has quite a loyal following because it's such a unique store; we have so much under the one roof. People are happy to come and see us and we've built up a good reputation and clientele".

My Spirit sells a large variety of crystals, giftware, tarot cards, jewellery, candles and books – lots of books. Inspiration books, intuition books, self-help books, books about animal guides, healing and dreams, books by Louise L. Hay and Nick Vujicic , books on flower therapy, angels and meditation, children's books, Paperblanks books – the list goes on. If anything, My Spirit is known for the huge range of informative books it stocks.



The candles sold at My Spirit have such a potent smell that you notice them the moment you enter the room. They're kept in the 'book room' and my personal favourites, the entire Summer Orchard range from Elume – are the strongest. With pretty scents such as Honeydew and Pear, Grapefruit and Lime Passion, Guava and Plum and Mandarin, Basil and Verbena there is much to sample.


My Spirit is also a part of the North Pine Country Markets held at Old Petrie Town every Sunday, from 8am-2pm. Old Petrie Town is home to many historical buildings, quality speciality shops, food and drink stalls, handmade gifts and crafts stores, a Heritage Restaurant/Function Centre and the North Pine Heritage Museum – as well as the market stalls every Sunday. The North Pine Country Markets combines the pre-existing stores with stalls of mini 'garage sales', baby poultry, jewellery, art prints, hot-dog stands, fruit and vegetables, car shows and jumping castles. My Spirit is open the extended market time every Sunday, from 8am-2pm.

My Spirit, as well as selling a large range of crystals and crystal jewellery, sells crystals hand-carved into different animals, such as Labradorite owls, Shiva Lingham Stones , fossils&hl=en&tbo=u&tbm=isch&source=univ&sa=X&ei=nj4HUYraEMeHkwW18IHQCw&sqi=2&ved=0CDYQsAQ&biw=1366&bih=667 Ammonite Fossils , crystal balls, pendulums and wands. The handmade crystal pieces are all one of a kind and also feature on the My Spirit Facebook page and website . My Spirit also sells the popular Baltic Amber Teething Necklaces .



My Spirit is a great New Age store with many different items under the one roof.
