If you love contemporary art, there's no shortage of wonderful exhibitions for your exploration this autumn. Draw inspiration from the amazing works of both emerging and established artists. Additionally, these exhibitions are held in beautiful galleries ranging from state-of-the-art architecture to sandstone buildings. Go check out and enjoy.

1. South of No North

This exhibition brings the work of an Australian artist together with overseas peers. Painter Noel McKenna (Australia) joins photographers Laurence Aberhart (New Zealand) who works primarily with black and white photography and William Eggleston (USA) who works almost exclusively with colour photography.

Stepping into the world of the wonderful works of these three visual artists, you can catch a glimpse of the thinking and stories behind the exhibition. Each artist takes on motifs such as architecture, interiors, culture, environments and people, capturing moments in time across America's deep south, New Zealand's North Island and Australia. The exhibition brings out contrasts and points of convergence. The common ground is that similar visual sensibility is reflected in their works.
