Madison Academy of Music proudly presents Musique Mélange, a French-themed Gala concert featuring Madison students and teachers performing along with internationally acclaimed visiting artists.

Several talented Singaporean artists will participate in this concert together with musicians and singers from Indonesia, Armenia, and Russia.


The concert will be held this Sunday at Alliance Française Theatre. Gevorg Sargsyan, one of the youngest and renowned Armenian conductors, is the music director of the school. He will play cello.


Wayne Teo, the pianist who took part in Honesty 3 operas, one hour , is alumni of the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris and La Schola. He had won 2nd prize Winner at the Rubinstein International Piano competition in Paris.

Leslie Tay, an alumni of Manhattan School of Music and Boston Conservatory, is a tenor who has performed with Singapore Repertory Theatre and involved in also other productions such as Opera Dinner .

Steven Ang, an alumni of Taiwan's Soochow University Music Department, has performed not only in Singapore but also China, Taiwan, and Malaysia.



Ani Umedyan, an alumni of Yerevan State Conservatory, has performed in Armenia, Europe, Australia, Singapore and Middle East. She has collaborated with famous artists and musicians like Andrea Bocelli (Italy), Philippe Graffin (France), and Maria Egelhoff (Germany).

They will be joined by fellow teachers - Roman Tarasov (guitarist), Matthew Mak (pianist), Khew Yun Zhen (pianist) - and their students. Alvin Tan (baritone) and Indonesian vocal trio The Brothers will be the guest stars.
