Seize the day, watch a musical
Pelican Productions (Traditionally Music Theatre Camp) brings together talented young people between 8-19 years to create an energetic theatre show. Borne from the desire to foster up and coming young talent in the Adelaide performing arts scene, fourteen years ago Directors of Pelican Productions Jen Frith and Kylie Green conceived the idea of Music Theatre Camp.

Each year, the show is based around a range of performances from Broadway and West End, this year delivering 'Seize The Day'. It is going to be a cracker and will feature a medley of stage shows including songs from the hugely popular Moana, Hair, Sister Act, Newsies, Hairspray and more.

If you're interested in a few hours of fun that the whole family can enjoy, tickets begin at $25.

Or if you have children interested in theatre, this is definitely the camp for them. Prices for the two weeks range from $540-$580 with payment plan options available. It is evident that the camp provides a sense of community with many members opting to be involved year after year.

The aim is to provide training in singing, dance and acting with highly qualified professionals in the industry whilst further developing a love of theatre, teamwork and resilience. And of course, having lots of fun with friends in the process!

Running over 2 weeks, the camp provides a range of vocal tutors and choreographers to help coach young people to present their best theatre show. The tutors help the young people develop performance skills such as singing, dancing and acting as well as important life skills such as teamwork and respect.

Whether you come along to a show, or your children are involved, everyone is bound to enjoy it!
