Music On The Streets is sure to get everybody moving

Music On The Streets Bondi 2015 is sure to have something to appeal to any musical taste. The organisers have invited everyone from buskers to orchestras, garage bands to musical families, established musicians to bag pipe players to come along on the day and help bring Bondi to life with music.

The Music On The Streets 2015 event will feature over 100 musicians

Confirmed musicians include 14 year old singer/songwriter Taj Ralph, the acoustic Latin sounds of Pato Lara, soulful Bondi local Kimberley Robison and Declan Kelly, lead singer of reggae band Declan Kelly & The Rising Sun.

Members of the Bondi based folk/soul collective BYO Social Club will be playing some of their original tunes, with extra percussion instruments available for spectators to join in.

A variety of dance groups will be in attendance, inspiring onlookers to loosen up and shake their thing. The incredible young ladies from the Q2 Junior Crew Hip Hop group will show you how to bust a move with attitude.

Each year Music On The Streets raises money for charity. This year proceeds will go to Wairoa School in Bondi who provide quality educational programs, in a caring environment, for 65 students with intellectual and multiple disabilities drawn from the eastern and inner west areas of Sydney. Buskers and musicians are asked to donate a minimum of 5% of any takings from the day.

The event is part of the Bondi Winter Magic Festival. It was set up as a joint initiative by the Bondi Chamber of Commerce and Waverley Council five years ago to increase visitors to Bondi during the winter months
