It's not all that often you have an opportunity to have a fantastic day out and, at the same time, be helping out some Very Special Kids. So, in order to make that possible, the Music Memorabilia Fundraiser will be happening at the Village Green Hotel, corner of Springvale and Ferntree Gully Roads, Mulgrave on Sunday, 28 July, 2019 from 11.00am to 4.00pm.
Admission is by your donation of a Gold Coin that will be passe3d on in full to the Very Special Kids children's hospice and to provide professional family support services for children with life-threatening conditions.
Bring the whole family because music is for everyone and finding something to enhance your listening pleasure can happen at any age. There will be recordings on vinyl, CD and DVD stacked to the rafters, well they'll be up pretty high, and you can search out that one recording that has always eluded you. Whatever you want is most likely going to be there so if you can't see it – ask!
The day is almost all about music but there will also be some fantastic entertainment for all the family. Happening all throughout the day will be live music performances with the possibility (huge possibility) of some very special guest appearances. Also, look out for the silent auction, incredible photos, books and lots, lots more.

But wait, there's more; while it's a day for collectors there also the possibility for donations to this great cause. Have you got any music memorabilia that you no longer want but can't just throw away? Do you want it to find a loving home? Well, why not donate to this fundraiser? Get started early and dig out those old tunes you no longer listen to – youthful dalliances in the old record store can be so embarrassing at times; although my soul mate sees no embarrassment in saying she still loves the Bay City Rollers!

Once you have those long-forgotten soundtracks of your life that you would prefer nobody knows about then stack them up and make them available for somebody else who has not yet realised what everybody else thinks of their taste – and even better for them, maybe they don't care and just want to like what they like!
Funds raised on the day will all be going towards Very Special Kids.
