Below is a list of both free and ticketed Museums and Galleries around Sutherland Shire:

1. The Neil Street Gallery
When: See website for all opening days & times.
Where: 23-25 Neil St, Bundeena
Cost: Free
Details: The freelance boutique of Neil Street Gallery exhibits both local and other artist's works. Click here for website.

2. Art Gallery, Kurnell
When: Weekends: 10am-4pm
Where: 6 Prince Charles Parade, Kurnell
Cost: Free entrance
Details: The Gallery is run by 10 local artists. It exhibits styles of painting including indigenous art, drawings, photography, crafts, jewellery and also see a painting demonstration in progress! All works are for sale.



3. Green Point Observatory
When: Every Thursday nights
Where: Cnr Green Point & Caravan Head Roads, Oyster Bay

Details: This is undoubtedly one of the best equipped observatories of any club in Australia as well as being Sydney's biggest amateur observatory! You can also do a tour of the night sky using the telescopes as well as an informative lecture www.sasi.net.au/

4. Bundeena Picture Gallery
When: Weekends: 10am-4pm
Where: 58 Brighton St, Bundeena
Cost: Free entry
Details: The gallery features works of renowned artists Robert Wilson and Doris Kaminski.

5. Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts Centre
When: Weekends: 10am-5pm
Where: 782 Kingsway, Gymea
Cost: Free
Details: This spectacular arts complex includes exhibitions, courses, workshops, artist's talks and more. There are over 15 national and international travelling exhibitions. Click here for website.



6. Seawater
When: Tuesday-Sunday: 9:30am-5:30pm & weekends: 10am-4pm
Where: Shop 3, 14 Gerrale St, Cronulla
Cost: Free entry
Details: Be immersed in the ocean and all its beauty at this gallery. There is a range of ocean wave imagery on display as well as a beautiful range of giftware and jewellery.

7. Sydney Tramway Museum
When: Every Sunday & Wednesday and most public holidays: 10am-4:15pm for all times and days see website.
Where: Cnr Rawson Ave & Pitt St, Loftus
Cost: Adults: $18, Concession: $12 & Kids: $10 under 4 free.
Details: Ride a Bondi Tram! This 'hands on' museum is a must visit, with a collection of many trams throughout the world, including the only purpose built prison tram in the world. This is a must for enthusiasts, families, museum buffs and everyone else... There are plenty of photographs and memorabilia to explore too! Tickets include unlimited tram rides and museum entry. 8. Sutherland Shire Historical Museum
When: Every Saturday: 9am-1pm
Where: Sutherland School of Arts, East Parade, Sutherland
Cost: Free entry
Details: This museum will take you on a journey through time as you explore historical elements of the Sutherland Shire.
