BrisStyle and The Workshops Rail Museum is proud to present the , which combines the South East Queensland's best handmade markets, food trucks, live music, free craft workshops, museum tours and there will also be an onsite bar.

So pack the family and friends into your car and come along to the . It will be a great night out for the whole family and the entry cost will not break the bank. There will be a $2 entry fee and all children under 15 will be free with an accompanying adult.



Located only 40 minutes from Brisbane CBD, The is easily located by following the signs to The Workshops Rail Museum. There will be free on street parking available.

TOURS

While you are there, you should also take the opportunity to go on one of their Torchlight Tours of the museum, where you will be able to check out the fantastic displays of full-size trains and working models. Many of the working models can be operated by the push of a button.

These tours are available at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm at a cost of just $10 per adult (children under 15 free with accompanying adult). Limited spots available, bookings available on the night at the Museum Shop Stall.

More about the Workshops Rail Museum

The Workshops Rail Museum is a wholly interactive authentic heritage and cultural experience that is located at Australia's oldest railway workshops and is still in operation.

Here you can make history come alive with hands-on exhibits, multi-media encounters and colourful stories coupled with huge steam locomotives and massive industrial machinery.



While you are there, you will have the chance to meet some true Aussie characters as you step into a real heritage railway workshop and see it in operation, just as it has been for 150 years. See genuine restoration of the Heritage Steam Train Fleet up close and hear living history from railway workers.

Explore over 15 larger-than-life exhibits to discover the enormous impact rail has had on our lives and beautifully restored carriages, the largest model railway of beautiful Queensland, the future of rail and treasured icons including the Vice-Regal carriage and Australia's oldest working steam locomotive.

The Workshops Rail Museum, part of the Queensland Museum, is the winner of Australian and Queensland Tourism Awards for Heritage & Cultural Tourism.
