Kids can get creative and curious with a raft of art-based activities at the Museum of Brisbane Autumn School Holidays Program 2025.

The Autumn School holidays in Queensland start on Saturday 5 April through to Monday 21 April 2025, and the Museum of Brisbane has curated a kids School Holidays Program which will engage and inspire the creativity of young minds.

With play and creative learning at the heart of the design, some of the activities in the Program include:

Collecting, Curating and Creating at the Micro Museum.

Could you make a move at the Crafty Movers Workshop?

Making and wearing your rockin' Punk Badge (inspired by the display in the Precious Exhibition in the badge Studio.

Make your creation in the Monster Mashup.

Playing a game of Little Artist's Eye Spy.

The arts have been found to be an important development tool for children. They boost creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and emotional expression. They also help improve academic performance, build confidence, and foster collaboration.
