Over the weekend of the 28 – 29th May 2022, you can immerse yourself in the artistic flair and talent of the Tweed and surrounds with a self-drive discovery on the
Murwillumbah Arts Trail (MAT). MAT showcases artists from across the region and you have the chance to not only see their work, but meet the artists, participate in art activities and perhaps purchase their unique works.

WORKSHOP
The Belle Riverhouse will be hosting an art workshop entitled "Finding Joy" – Intuitive Painting with Jenny McConnell. Commencing at 3.30pm and concluding at 6.30pm, this workshop is $55.00 per person. All art materials, including the apron, will be supplied along with light refreshments and a glass of wine. Profits from ticket sales will be donated to support the Tumbulgum Public School art programme.

WORKSHOPS
The Forgotten Photography Printing Process is a four-hour workshop with Photo Media artist
Raimond de Weerdt. Participants will learn skills and techniques to create their own cyanotype images. Cost is $60.00, which includes lunch and will be held at the Tweed Regional Museum, Murwillumbah from 10.00am to 2.00pm DST.
Participants are asked to bring a variety of flowers, leaves, cuttings from the garden along with lace and doilies to create prints. All other materials are provided. Bookings can be made here.

Enamelling for Jewellery by Michelle – learn how to make a stunning piece of jewellery that you can wear home at the end of the day. Participants will be introduced to basic dry sift enamelling techniques. No previous experience is required for this workshop.
Cost of this workshop is $145.00 per person and includes demonstration and tuition in the basics of enamelling at a low cost, your choice of base metal shapes and a material handout for you to take home. Please bring a pen and paper to take notes. This event is being help from 10.00m to 2.00pm in
Murwillumbah.
