2019 Carnival comes to Murrumbeena Primary School
It's quite understandable why many retirees choose to travel around Australia when there is so much beauty in our own history and the significance of townships that make up the wider cultural experience of our great nation.
Murrumbeena is a south-east suburb of Melbourne with a population of approximately 9,900 people. Along with picturesque parklands, the town has a rich artistic heritage. It is said the name of the town comes from the Aboriginal word "mirambeena", which means lands of frogs. I hope there is plenty of frogs there as they are wonderful for our eco systems.
