I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

offers relaxed family-friendly dining with a craft beer or two thrown in. It is a great tourist destination for those travelling to the Port Stephens region as well as a popular venue for Hunter locals. The brewery is 100% independently Australian owned and operated.

There are two indoor dining spaces as well as the large outdoor timber deck and grassed area where children can run free whilst their parents enjoy a relaxing lunch. Well behaved fur family members are welcome on the grassed areas. On the weekends, there is live music from 12:30pm and they run special events to celebrate beer launches and occasions such as Mother's Day and Halloween. Bookings are recommended for weekends but there is plenty of space for weekday walk ins.

The
menu is interesting with great food and drink combinations. The "big smoke" BBQ platter was full of delicious flavours and textures. Kids meal deals are $12 & $14 and include a soft drink and single-serve ice cream.
There are up to ten of their beers on tap as well as specialty bottled beers, Port Stephen's winery is onsite and they also supply and sell a range of special spirits. The shop sells a variety of gourmet food items, as well as Murray's merchandise and tourism-related goods.
