Come step on board the queen

The Murray River Queen is South Australia's floating hotel. It has been permanently moored at the main town wharf in Renmark for the past two years. It offers a modern Asian restaurant and regional cellar door as well as accommodation cabins and suites. In addition, both the riverside and riverbank views are spectacular with the sight and sound of the surrounding bird life. Waking up early to enjoy the sunrise over the river is a must in my opinion.

I recently checked into one of its cabins for an overnight stopover on the River Murray. The room was spacious and well-appointed, although the bathroom sink was a little tiny. However, it is definitely an experience not to be missed when you're in the Riverland region, especially for the boat enthusiasts in particular.
