Warm up your vocal chords and brush up on those catchy ABBA lyrics for the at Casula Powerhouse on 2nd October 2015.

For those old enough to remember seeing Muriel's Wedding the first time around, it is hard to believe it has been 21 years since its release, in 1994. Yet, despite its age, this Aussie classic is still loved by many today.


Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre is also celebrating it's 21st birthday this year and will be screening Muriel's Wedding as part of the monthly Sydney Film Festival programme.

The audience is invited to come dressed in their best 90's outfit or in a Muriel's Wedding inspired costume for the chance to win special prizes on the night.

Get ready to sing-a-long to all of the ABBA classics that feature in the film such as Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia and Waterloo, as Muriel follows her dream of escaping from Porpoise Spit and having a glamorous wedding.


The film will screen at 7.30pm in the Casula Powerhouse Theatrette. Screenings are great value at only $15 dollars per adult, $13 per Concession and $10 for children under the age of 16. For those who wish to make a night of it, there is also a pre-movie dinner option for an extra $17 dollars. Dinner and a movie for only $32 dollars - what great value!! Catering will be provided by the Bellbird Café.
