Murder, Mystery and Intrigue: Murder at the Manor sure beats Cluedo!**

Don your detective caps and prepare to be transported back in time for an evening of mystery and mayhem at .

Held in The Manor Basket Range, a truly breathtaking historic estate dating back to 1935, the Cluedo-inspired evening is just one of several events that form the program for South Australia's History Festival held from 27 April – 31 May.

Emma Knights Productions in conjunction with acclaimed Adelaide cabaret performer Michelle Nightingale present a uniquely interactive story steeped in history, drenched in mystery and sprinkled with musical numbers as clues.

It's 1935, and British Lord Albert Pinchbeck has just laid the final stone marking the completion of this grand castle for his current love as a token of his affection. Gobsmackingly enough, she has proven not to be interested and abandons him, leaving Pinchbeck to become a recluse over the years. Predicting his future demise, Pinchbeck invites his quarrelsome relatives and rare friends for a reading of his last will and testament. However, as tensions escalate and conflicts build, the castle is rocked by a shocking murder that is shrouded in mystery.

Surrounded by suspects and potential victims, guests are thrown into a mystery unfolding right before their eyes and must release their inner Sherlock Holmes in order to uncover family secrets, reveal what lies behind people's many masks, and ultimately identify the murderer once and for all.

As dusk descends, an eerie chill and spooky atmosphere cascades upon The Manor, so come and dine by the cosy fireside with a three-course meal that is generously included with your ticket. Smoked duck breast is served as the entrée, slow cooked lamb makes up the main and indulge your sweet tooth with a raspberry pannacotta for dessert.

will be taking over The Manor Basket Range for an exclusive special performance on Monday 6 May from 6pm. Be sure to snap up your last-minute tickets on the South Australia's History Festival website here: https://historyfestival.sa.gov.au/33971
