I am an academic and writer living in Melbourne. I love to travel and I also love writing about all the things Melbourne, regional Victoria and other parts of Australia have to offer.
This is performing arts of a different kind. As its name suggests this performance is characterised by a number of different performance activities. The space at the Substation, a post industrial building with gallery and performance spaces, lends itself very well to this kind of performance.
Choreographed by Lee Serle, the performance appeals to all our senses; there is music, dance, narratives and immersive, co-creative theatre, accompanied by sensory stimuli.
If you are lucky to be picked as one of the audience members to become part of the performance, then your experience will be heightened by a unique immersion into a world of sensations and interesting moments. If you are part of the audience watching the performance you will be observing the interactions, narratives, physical movement and symbolism of this unique visual and musical experience.
