The Perth Multicultural Vegan Vegetarian Food Fair takes place twice a year at the South Perth Community Centre which is next to the South Perth Library and Ernest Johnson Oval Park. The festival is returning in 2017 and will be held on Sunday, March 12 from 11am to 4pm. There will be vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options all clearly marked and available at stalls.
Entrance to the fair is free and food prices range from $2 to $10 dollars. Transactions are made by coupons which can be purchased at a coupon table that is located at the entrance to the hall. The festival is usually very popular. A common piece of advice is to get there early because if you don't you might miss out on some of the tastier options which tend to sell out fast. In previous years the festival has had 12 to 15 stalls weighed down with treats like Pad Thai, sticky rice pudding, bean curd salad, dishes from Asia, and lots and lots of cakes. Grab a plate and get eating!
