The Ivey Watson Playground in Kings Park in the city of Perth is going to take on an atmosphere of fun and magic during the Multicultural Lantern Walk. This FREE event is on Saturday 22 June 2019 from 5-7pm. The schedule is for a picnic outside Stickybeak Cafe at the aforementioned Playground from 5-5.30pm, then a practice of German lantern songs for the next half hour before the actual lantern walk at 6pm sharp that goes for an hour.

This is a traditional German and Multicultural Lantern Walk, and you can make your own beautiful lanterns. The sky is the limit for your imagination, however no open fires please. No RSVP is required for this event. In case of rain, the walk will eventuate a week later on Saturday 29 June 2019, hence, please do check the event page for weather and other updates regarding the walk, before you head out.
