Sunday March 17 2019 not only marks St Patrick's Day, it's also a day for the Multicultural Fair Diversity Festival 2019 from 12-5pm at the Preston Shire Hall & Preston City Hall, 286 Gower St, Preston. This is a FREE event however you need to REGISTER for numbers. It's a single-use plastic-free event with food stalls and fun for all ages.
Held during Cultural Diversity Week (16-24 March 2019), the Fair will have over 35 stalls/booths to represent different culture, faith, food and service providers sporting the theme ofNo More Myths and Misconceptions - See Us For Real. This is a fun-filled multicultural fair that celebrates social, cultural and spiritual benefits of cultural diversity. You'll need to register to get Free cultural teas, henna tattoos and face painting.
Two halls that connect internally have been booked, with one used for stalls and the other for the main stage entertainment and stalls for different cultures. Victorians from diverse ethnic, cultural, linguistic and religious backgrounds, including migrants and refugees can feel a sense of pride and belonging. Help spread the word among families and friends and invite those from a different culture and faith to join in the celebration.
