Multicultural Australia’s MOSAIC Festival 2023


The Mosaic Festival has grown over time and is now Queensland's largest multicultural festival and has become an event that more than 8000 festival-goers look forward to. A showcase and celebration of Brisbane's rich social fabric, the event will be held on Sunday 17 September 2023 from 10am to 5pm at the Roma Street Parkland, 1 Parkland Blvd, Brisbane City. Proudly supported by Suncorp, the Queensland Government and Brisbane City Council it celebrates cultural diversity in the performing, creative and culinary arts with a curated lineup of live music and dance by some of South East Queensland's best performers, arts and craft, sports activations, workshops, poetry, fun family activities, and food from around the world.

This year, the Cultural Kitchen will once again be a feature where a series of cooking demonstrations and storytelling sessions will be delivered by home chefs from the multicultural community. Audiences can enjoy the traditional flavours from across Africa, Asia, and Europe, and the Middle East, and learn the traditional ways many age-old dishes are made. A brand-new Connecting Through Arts space now features an exciting program of dance and music workshops, and the Youth Space will have interactive games and busking performances. There's lots to browse and enjoy at the cultural marketplace featuring food, craft and activity stalls.

Gather your loved ones and be sure to be there for the Welcome to Country Performance at 12pm on the Celebration stage, and perhaps have a wonderful picnic out; enjoy the fun games, arts and crafts and the all-day concert at this free event for all ages.
