For most of the year, Mullumbimby is a quiet, little rural town in New South Wales known for its beautiful scenery and landscapes. HOWEVER, every year, for the past eight years, and
over four massive days it becomes host to one of the
best music festivals in Australia. With talented artists from the jazz, country, classical, popular music, folk and hip hop genres, it is sure to entertain most music lovers.
Just a 15 minute drive north of Byron Bay, the
Mullum Musical Festival is a four day ticketed event where you will find more than 80 international and national artists performing in the local halls, pubs, churches, clubs and streets of this beautiful scenic town of New South Wales. This family-friendly event offers a diverse music program line up with comedy, street theatre, dance, choirs; as well as free concerts, circus acts, food & craft stalls and workshops. Headlining acts from around the world include
Canadian major contemporary artist;
Ron Sexsmith, UK, singer/songwriter
Ben Ottewell (singer and lead guitarist from indie rock band
Gomez), New Zealand's international success;
Trinity Roots, the experimental musician, from Germany, with a twist to piano playing;
Hauschka and on their first ever headlined tour in Australia, combining R&B/Funk/Soul/Delta Blues, from America,

Festival Market Place - just behind the Civic Hall
When you're chilling out between gigs check out the variety of food and local artisan stalls on offer. You'll never be bored, and neither will the kids, with so much FREE entertainment and daily activities.
Amazing Drumming Monkeys - a variety show geared towards the little kids (1-8 years old) with puppets, drum playing, magic tricks and special effects.
Roundabout Theatre - a fun and playful workshop to learn more about and have fun in performing in outdoor theatre.
Meet Make Create - this workshop is targeted to inspire kids of all ages to get their craft on and let their imagination run wild.
Mullum SEED - encourages sustainability and good living within our environment with walks through the award winning community gardens, talks, forums, gardening/cooking/weaving workshops and activities .
The Spaghetti Circus - become captured by the acts and tricks of this young group of energetic and talented performers.
And don't forget the
FREE Yoga Class on the weekend at the Civic Hall from 8-9am.

Situated 1.2km out of town, it is the ideal spot to set up camp. A shuttle bus runs to and from the campsite and enjoy waking up on the weekend to the smell of
Nomadic Coffee at your door step as it arrives on cart open for business at 8am.
Camp site costs:
Powered sites: $18 per person per night
Unpowered sites: $15 per person per night
