Located in Georgetown, Penang, can be found right beside each other along Chulia Street. Both the cafe and the bakery are nicely decorated. The use of chalkboards makes for that cute hipster cafe look. The ambience in the cafe is very welcoming and is quite cosy, making it a nice place to just sit down and maybe have a bagel or a cup of coffee.





The Rainforest Bakery next door is also pleasantly decorated. That nice freshly baked bread smell lingers in the air when you enter, and it's honestly surprising that the cafe smells less of baked bread, even though they're both connected by an open archway. The bakery offers an array of pastries, sandwiches and bread.







The Mugshot Cafe is home to one of the best bagels I've ever had and could easily be one of the best bagels in all of Penang. They offer a variety of bagels; the two below being a cream cheese and salmon bagel, and a bacon and egg bagel.





Their wild berry tea was also quite refreshing, though it comes unsweetened.



Moving on to The Rainforest Bakery, my father had gone next door to order chocolate croissants. The pastry was nicely buttered all over and was filled with chocolate. The inside was soft and flaky as expected of a croissant and was overall a very lovely pastry.
