Summary

According to author Martha Stone, instead of baking cookies in the oven for over 25 minutes, you can microwave your desserts for 5 minutes! This is a perfect treat. You can keep extra batter in the fridge for tomorrow’s dessert or freeze it for up to a month!


First, combine all dry ingredients in a microwave-safe mug, then the wet ingredients. Cook for 1 3/4 minutes.

Vanilla extract, milk, vegetable oil, sugar or stevia, baking powder, sugar, dash of salt, peanut butter and cocoa powder.

(I am not sure of the reason, but sugar was listed twice. Next, instead of cocoa powder, I would use hot chocolate.)


Who said that only cakes may be microwaved in a mug?

Semi-sweet chocolate chips, scant all-purpose flour, egg yolk, salt, vanilla extract, dark brown sugar, white sugar and butter.

Melt butter, and mix in salt, vanilla and sugars. Toss in egg yolk, then mix. Pour in flour, then chocolate chips mix. Press dough firmly into the bottom of a mug. Microwave for 40 to 60 seconds! Voila!


Mix all ingredients together in a mug. Microwave for 3 30-second intervals, mixing after every interval. Let the cheesecake cool and refrigerate.

Sugar, vanilla, lemon juice, egg, sour cream and softened cream cheese!

Opinion

Out of all of the recipes, my favorite is Cheesecake in a Mug! Extravagant like at bakeries and restaurants, yet just as delicious in your home and frugal!

This cookbook is adorable and not boring, to be short and sweet.

I give this cookbook a 5-star rating!
