Be inspired!

Occurring once every two years, Mudfest is a truly incredible display of creative talent right here in Melbourne. Most of the plays are written by Melbourne Uni students and such passionate devotion to this festival will not disappoint.

Spanning from 18-28 August, Mudfest is a veritable smorgasbord of theatrical, comedic, and artistic genius. The complete program with dates and performance locations can be found here.

Some of the highlights of Mudfest include:

A Creative Writing Workshop with prominent playwright, Lally Katz
The Happening (an inclusive improve extravaganza with costumes)
Sherlock Homes-A Postmodern Live Radio Play
The Musical of Musicals: The Musical (bring your voice)
Dance Revolution (dance your heart out)
Is This Too Framed (a modern interactive play by Tilly Lunken)

With a dizzying array of poetry readings, musicals, plays, and gallery shows loaded up per day, it is best to plan your schedule with the handy Mudfest calendar.
