Ride a train, make a difference
Would you like to help make a difference in the lives of children who would otherwise have fallen through the gaps of support? You can, simply by riding miniature trains at the Muddy Puddles Family Fun Day. Muddy Puddles is a non-profit organisation. This fundraiser event will be held at Morphett Vale Miniature Railway on Sunday 5 March 2017 at 12pm.
The miniature railway has approximately two kilometres of track through the natural bushland of Wilfred Taylor Reserve. Each ride takes roughly around fifteen minutes. The trains are diesel and steam trains with gondola-design riding carriages.
There will also be face painting and bouncing castle. So pack your picnic and enjoy a day filled with family fun.
Tickets are $10 per person (unlimited train rides). They can be purchased from the TryBooking website. All funds raised will help Muddy Puddles connect children with rare bowel and/or bladder conditions through special events, day trips and overnight stays. The aim is to ensure that these children know they are not alone. The day they find someone else with a similar condition is the day things begin to become easier. Their families are also supported and cared for.
