Following the success of the inaugural Mud Up Day, The Ideas Library confirms that Mud Up Day 2016 is back with a splash on January 16, 2016.

Mud Up Day returns in 2016 to Peninsula Obstacle Racing Course, Moorooduc.


The event returns to Peninsula Obstacle Course for this non-timed environment, meaning it's all about fun without the pressure.

January 16, 2016 will bring Mud Up Day back to Mornington with more than 35 obstacles on a 5km course.


Perfect for obstacle lovers who want a great day out with their friends and family, Mud Up Day will once again include dedicated heats for children over 6, as well as a 'Big and Little' heat that allows one parent to hit the course with a child, as a team.

The 2016 event will include a Big and Little heat where adults can team up with their little adventurers.


In addition to the extra children's heats and the Big and Little heat, a few new elements have also been added, such as participant medals for all ages, as well as a new charity partner, RPSCA Victoria.

The 2016 event will again have dedicated kids heats for those aged 6-12.


Mud Up Day will include not just the run, but plenty of outdoor space to picnic, food trucks and more. The 5km course is located just off Peninsula Link on Tyabb Road in Mornington, and is only 45 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.

Perfect for those keen to just have a bit of fun as well as obstacle enthusiasts; book now for Mud Up Day 2016.


With more than 35 obstacles, this Mud Up Day is an exciting way to challenge yourself no matter your age or experience.
Tickets are available at early bird rates from $60 for adults, and $40 for children 6-13, until 30 June, 2015. Regular tickets are $80 for adults and $40 for children, until January 15, 2016..

No ticket sales will be available on the day.

I love the concept of the Big and Litle Heat, it is so important to children to participate in things with their parents. I'm sure the little ones will feel very grown up.
