They say it's Australia's best country music, 4x4 and bull riding festival. The event is held every year at the infamous Landcruiser Park for four days. The park is situated near Jimna in South East Queensland, with a spectacular back drop of natural state forests. Four days of non stop entertainment is promissed, and from past experiences, guaranteed.
Music from Country Bands and Singers like 8 Ball Aitken, Lee Kernaghan, Gina jefferies, Col Finley and more performing through out the festival on three different stages. There will be bush poets telling their stories as well.
Festival action begins at Midday Thursday 3rd of November at the XXXX Club Country Bar with eleven entertainers ready to rock you through to the early hours of Friday Morning.
Then at 10:00am Friday morning it all starts again, with three stages for music lovers and at 1:00pm the 4x4 action begins. Around 6:00pm the Bucking Thunder Rodeo kicks into action with Cowboys doing their thing.
The program is full right through till Sunday afternoon for music lovers and action junkies.
It's not just for the Pro's, yes even you can strutt your stuff at the Ladies and Gentlemans, Fashions of the Festival show, everyone welcome, entry is free.
If you think you can sing, then you could be discovered at the 2011 Country Talent search, with prizes including a gig at the Urban Music festival and studio time.
They even have a Best Campsite competition, with prizes that seem to include Alcohol. (I couldn't see anyone drinking at this affair).
