Nice garden with good food and "busy" menu

On Moon Muang, Soi 7 is this lovely little coffee shop and restaurant outside a guesthouse of the same name. I'll be honest, we were first drawn in by the offer of 50 Baht margaritas but were so intrigued by the menu, that we decided to try some of the food on offer as well.

You could say the menu is a little on the "busy" side, garishly designed as it is with a wash of colours, pictures and background images set to leave even the most hardened traveller a little bit dazed. Get past this though and you realise that they have some interesting dishes on offer in the form of North Eastern Thai specials.

They also have cocktails, fruit shakes, served in a coconut if you like and coffee, such as this iced mocha.

It is set in a pleasant little garden with water features and umbrellas to give some shade. It's nice, but you have to be aware of mosquitoes at certain times of the day.

The food is good, some of the portions might be a little small but if you share three dishes it is fine and they are tasty so you don't mind so much.
