I had to take a second look at this little critter before I realised it wasn't a real turtle - much to my disappointment. Needless to say I walked the length of this pond at the Botanic Gardens in Mt Tomah hoping I'd be lucky enough to spot a real turtle swimming about, but no such luck.

Still, I loved the extra effort they went to to make these gardens look interesting and natural and even if this little critter isn't real, there are plenty of cute little creatures to be spotted running around the gardens.
