Approximately 4 kilometres northwest of Wollongong is the which provides stunning views of the city and surrounds at 464 metres or 1,522 ft elevation above sea level. It is a short drive from the city and is a major local landmark.



The is a natural area annex of the Wollongong Botanic Garden. It has two lookouts which provides great views, connected by a gentle 20-minute bush walk track called the Ringtrack, which is suitable for all walking abilities. To the north is the Five Islands Lookout, which offers view of the northern suburbs and the Royal National Park. On the other hand, the Queen Victoria Lookout offers view of the southern suburbs including the Port Kembla Steelworks.
