Mt Hawthorn Streets & Laneway Festival
The Mt Hawthorn Streets & Laneway Festival returns for 2016

After a successful debut last year, the Mt Hawthorn Streets and Laneways Festival is on again. It's a day/evening event on Sunday May 1 from 11am until 7pm.

The kids, family and friends will enjoy the real carnival atmosphere with food, live music, market stalls, entertainment stages, pop-up street bars, street food, cooking displays and roving performers.

The idea behind the event is celebrate the unique sense of community and diversity of Mount Hawthorn. Key locations and activity points along Scarborough Beach Road will incorporate local landmarks including the New Norcia Bakery and The Paddington Ale House, along with hidden-alley gems like Neighbourhood Pizza and the Jazz Cellar.

A full program will be announced soon, so keep an eye on the Facebook page. And, for the time being, mark May 1 in the calendar.
