Four tired but happy walkers plus Pippa the wonder dog rest next to the very pretty shelter shed at the foot of the Summit Walk at Mt Coot-tha. See my full article on this walk at

We walked up and down before 9.30am one morning this week, revelling in Brisbane's winter weather and spectacular views from the top of the mountain. Moreton Bay and even the Scenic Rim were in clear view.

This is a great walk that you can do in under 90 minutes, even with kids, and dogs are permitted on leads. Get out and do it.
