As this is a fun run and fun walk, get into the mood of the day by wearing red, or you can even come in red costume. There will be prizes for the best dressed individual in red, best dressed team and best uniformed team, so get creative and see what you can put together for the day.
There will be a cloak room available to check in a bag on the day with a gold coin donation asked in return for this service.
At the start and finish lines there will be coffee and a range of food available for purchase, music and entertainment for all the family. This is a great way to get the whole family involved and something active to do on a Sunday morning.
It is advisable to arrive at the event by public transport. The options are
Tram No 112 (West Preston - East St Kilda) which runs along Clarendon Street and Albert Road or
Tram No. 96 (East Brunswick - St Kilda Beach) which runs along Canterbury Road.
If you must travel by car, try and car pool to minimise congestion. Note that there is limited parking at the Lakeside Car Park on Aughtie Drive and limited parking on Albert Road in South Melbourne.
