It's on again Sydney. Sunday, April 29 is the date for the MS Walk and Fun Run. Hurry and organise your friends, family and colleagues to join you in your fundraising efforts. Why not organise a team and raise funds together?
Being a part of this fun event is a great way to show your support for people living with the debilitating effects of Multiple Sclerosis. All the funds raised will go towards helping to find a cure.
There is a 4km and 8km course.
The event starts and finishes at Metcalfe Park Pyrmont. Runners start at 8.30am and walkers start at 10.00am. There are two courses, 4km and 8km, and both are accessible to wheelchairs, mobility scooters and prams.
Over the years my friends and I have participated in this event, both as teams or individually. We found it a very social, family-friendly atmosphere and an amazing way to see our city. We have beautiful memories of the parts of Sydney we walked through, those sights are spectacular and never forgotten.
Give it a go at least once because you will walk or run through some picturesque parts of Sydney whilst improving your fitness and helping a worthy cause. What's not to like?
