Dust off your cycling gloves and get your 10-speed out of the garage because the MS Sydney to the Gong Bike Ride is back again for its 33rd year and is calling for riders!

Join thousands of riders on Sunday 2 November as they descend upon the scenic Sydney to Wollongong route to raise much needed funds for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS), a devastating neurological condition where 4 people every working day are diagnosed.

A special event on Sydney's cycling calendar, this one day community cycling event has raised over $30 million dollars since 1980 and is looking to raise even more this year. You can ride as an individual or as part of a team.

So hop to it and register before August 29 for your early discount!

And don't worry, if your fitness levels aren't at the level of a Tour de France cyclist either. Riders can choose to ride either the longer 90km course from Sydney Park in St. Peters or a shorter 58km course starting from Engadine. Either way you'll get the chance to experience the magnificent scenery of the Royal National Park, Sea Cliff Bridge and the coast road all the way to Wollongong.

And, even if you're not the type to hop on two wheels you can volunteer to help on the day or show your support by donating to this great cause.

Entry prices

Your entry fee for the MS Gong Ride covers the cost of staging the event. That means every dollar you fundraise will go directly to funding services and support for people living with MS.

Early entry prices - valid until 29 August 2014

Adult early entry - $80
Child early entry (12 - 16 years) - $45
Family early entry A = 1 adult & 2 children - $130
Family early entry B = 2 adults & 2 children - $170

Note: Children must be at least 12 years of age on the day of the event and be accompanied by an adult.

Raising funds for a great cause

Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic debilitating disease for which there is no known cause or cure which randomly attacks the central nervous system. Typically, those diagnosed are between 20 and 40 years of age and three quarters of people living with MS are women.
