Update January 12th 2018
Maggio's Cafe has moved across the plaza into these premises at 457 Miller Street. The buzz continues as they serve breakfast and lunch, and also sell a vast array of bread, cakes and pastries in Maggio's Bakery, a few doors along at 463 Miller Street. Read more about Maggio's here.

You're in good company when you share your weekend breakfast with friends at Ms Miller.

This sultry lady is not difficult to miss. She's on the main drag, Miller Street, right in the heart of Cammeray at the pedestrian crossing. Just look for the buzz on the plaza where you will see the weekend breakfast set, many with dogs and prams. Some will be a little more formally dressed, but many will be wearing walking or running gear, or will have leaned their bikes against one of the closest walls. Cammeray has a real community feel to it.

Ms Miller serves tapas six nights a week , but on weekends she shows her true versatility, by putting on breakfast at what I call sensible hours: 9.00 am to 2:00 pm. So you can sleep in, come late, and still get a chance to choose from an interesting and comprehensive menu .

The measure of a good cafe starts with the coffee. It's good! And, they offer decaf and soy for those who are not strict coffee aficionados.

The breakfast beverage offering is extensive and interesting. There are the usual fresh orange or fresh apple juices, as well as watermelon juice, and other more exotic combinations. Maybe a smoothie made with raspberry & chia seed, or muesli, honey & almond is more to your liking. If you're brave enough to try some "Morning Booze", there are plenty of choices. For example: Agua de Valencia - Bubbles with crushed oranges & Cointreau; or Mother's Milk - Kahlua, vanilla & milk are just two of the choices. If you linger long enough you might end up ordering Tapas and a jug of Sangria.

There are cafes, and there are bars. Ms Miller is distinctly different - a bit of cafe, a touch of bar, and a taste of restaurant.

She's open for business:
Saturday & Sunday: 9am-2pm for Breakfast, & until 11 pm for Tapas
Tuesday to Friday: 4pm - 11pm
