Be part of something fun, crazy, and outrageously colourful on Australia Day 2014 with the MS Colour Dash. You'll be walking (or running) on air I promise.

The MS Colour Dash is a non-competitive 5km dash suitable for all ages, all fitness levels and people from all walks of life. Put on your white shirts, lace up your sneakers, bring your spirit, and come with a smile on your face and get ready to share a boisterous morning of colourful play all the while raising funds for Australians living with multiple sclerosis (MS).

You will gather at Tumbalong Park and head towards Pyrmont Bay where Colour Station 1 is located. Be prepared to be showered with your very first rainbow dust which can be a bit daunting or even overwhelming. Then make your way to Giba Park to receive your second spray of beautiful colours before following the path along the foreshore passing Colour Stations 3 and 4 back to Tumbalong Park where the dash ends. You should be pretty colourful by this time with a big smile on your face.

If you're worried about the rainbow dust, then don't because it is made from 100% natural ingredients and is totally safe. Having said that, it's probably best not to inhale it.

Stick around at the finish line because the fun continues with exciting live music, heaps of food and drinks, and you can even play with the rainbow dust. It will be messy, colourful, but definitely worth it.

Registration starts from $25, which also includes your squeaky clean white shirt. So register now as an individual, as part of a team or create your own team.

Once you've registered, it's time to get your fundraising off the ground. You may ask, why fundraise? Well I can give you a million reasons, but I will just give you a few. Because your raised and donated funds will assist the 23,000 Australians living with MS with various services and support. Plus, it's fun, it will change lives, it may build your social network, and it's for a very worthy cause.

So each adult should try and raise a minimum of $200, and trust me, it's not as hard as it sounds. Get inspired, make the first donation, walk around your workplace promoting your fundraising, and get your family and friends involved. There are heaps of fundraising ideas on the website so take advantage of them. Remember, don't give up until you've explored all avenues.
